Happy Sunday! Can you even believe it’s 8 days until Christmas? It’s been a crazy weekend as I’m trying to finish shopping, work projects, and getting everything ready as we prepare to leave to visit family at the end of the week! I’ll be the first to admit that I was feeling the stress creep in earlier this weekend so I had to take a step back to re-center myself. It’s easy to let the busyiness of the holiday season overshadow the joy that is the real meaning we celebrate and come together. If you’re in the same boat as me, I’m sharing a few of my tips (that I had to remind myself of this weekend!) to stay happy and healthy this time of year!
1. Staying Healthy During the Holidays: Get out and play.
Take advantage of all the fun there is to do this time of year and get out to enjoy yourself! Taking a mental break from all the todos and breathing in some fresh air sometimes is the best way to get disconnect. Getting to the gym may be a struggle but you can still stay active just by enjoying all that the season has to offer! If you have little ones, even better as you can do it all together! Go ice skating, walk to see the holiday lights (we’re hitting up the Enchant light maze soon!), or even just play in the snow / leaves! It’s a great opportunity to make some great memories!
2. Staying Healthy During the Holidays: Have a mindful moment first thing in the morning.
I used to check my phone first thing in the morning but I’ve realized that it just fueled my stress. Instead, I now spend the first few moments when I wake up just thinking about what I want my day to look like. Visualization is a huge factor for me in helping me achieve goals so I make sure I picture in my head the tone my day. I actually find that it makes me more focused and less reactive, something that helps tremendously when unexpected events occur or when I’m juggling multiple tasks at once!
3. Staying Healthy During the Holidays: Nourish your body with fruits and vegetables
Fueling my body with fruits and vegetables gives me the stable energy to make it through my day without the highs and lows of sugar spikes. Green juices and smoothies are a staple for me year round but even more so this time of year as I may not be able to fit in enough leafy greens otherwise.
4. Staying Healthy During the Holidays: Chew slowly. Choose your indulgences.
I’m not one for abstaining from all treats but I do try to choose my indulgences wisely. I can’t say no to pumpkin pie so I’ll let myself have a few bites instead of finishing an entire slice. Or share a dessert with others and split the calories while getting in some time with your friends / family!
5. Staying Healthy During the Holidays: Wear your skinny jeans.
It can be discouraging to step on the scale this time of year but my recommendation is to keep wearing your usual skinny jeans. Personally, the way my clothes fit is the best way for me to know if I’ve indulged a little too much and need to scale back!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog post on staying healthy during the holidays. The holiday season can indeed be challenging when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and your tips are practical and insightful.
I especially appreciate your emphasis on mindful eating and staying active, as these are often overlooked during festive times. Your suggestions for incorporating nutritious food into holiday meals are fantastic, and the idea of planning indulgences is a great way to strike a balance.
I wanted to contribute to the conversation by recommending an anxiety test that could be beneficial for those facing stress during the holidays. Your readers might find it valuable to check out an anxiety test provided by Calmerry at: https://calmerry.com/blog/therapy/do-you-have-anxiety-try-this-anxiety-test/ It’s a quick and informative way for individuals to assess their anxiety levels and consider seeking support if needed.
Thank you for sharing such valuable insights, and I’m looking forward to implementing these tips during the upcoming holiday season.

A variety of vitamins in food is the guarantee that a person will not encounter vitamin deficiency syndromes, such as fatigue, nervous system disorders, and cardiovascular diseases. That is why it is important to regularly check-in and make up for the deficiency. On the Secrets.shop website you can find everything you need for this
