I wanted to change it up with something a little edgier and went with a leather skirt and over-the-knee leather boots. I’ve been wanting a leather skirt for awhile now but kept on telling myself that it just wouldn’t be practical enough to wear. After weeks of back and forth, I finally decided to just go for it!
Because my mini-skirt days don’t happen very frequently these days, I decided to go up a size on this skirt and just have the sides slimmed down to fit (I just sewed over the zippers on either side). I’m so glad I did as with the extra length of this skirt, I don’t have to worry about any mishaps while bending over or showing too much leg (especially when I’m here with family on vacation!).
This last week of traveling has been a whirlwind. Seeing lots of family, catching up with old college friends, and seeing Dylan just soak it all in has been an amazing experience. Adrian and I are ready to go home though and spend the next couple days just as our little family of 3. This holiday season has been such a great reminder for all that we have to be thankful for.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you’re having a great holiday!
