Hello and happy Thursday! This week is flying by and it’s been a busy wake-up call in comparison to the lazy days of the holidays! I recently started a mini clean-out of my closet and discovered this pleated skirt that was tucked away and definitely needed to be re-worn. I love velvet for this time of year (so soft!); and decided to go head-to-toe in the cozy fabric. This look is perfect for transitioning out of the holidays and paired it with a new bag from Amazon!
I have quite the collection of designer items in my closet, but every now and then I spot some Amazon designer-inspired find that pique my curiosity. My bag is a look-for-less option for the Chloe Tess crossbody and I just love the neutral color as well as how it has both long and short strap options for wearing on-the-shoulder or just carried on the arm. I love this!! At first glance, no one would know they weren’t real. I love to save money, so this is perfect for me. Great finds!
I’m a bit divided on designer dupes. On one hand, it provides an opportunity for a lot of people to have access to affordable look-alikes. On the other hand, I wonder if instead of buying a ton of dupes, we skip them all and save up for the real thing if we want it so badly? I’m definitely in the mindset of having fewer things but buying small amounts of quality items…but I acknowledge that not everyone thinks that way.

Oh, I am all giddy for a new handbag now. These dupes are fabulous choices.
My first thought was “look at those fabrics!!”. I love, love velvet. The pleats in the skirt make it look so flowy. The bow on the skirt and your boots match too, so subtle and cute.
