I’ve been embracing Asian skincare and makeup products lately as I’ve seen lots of amazing results (you may remember my review of Laniege?). \While Asian skincare is slowly becoming more accessible in the U.S. now, I find that I still don’t hear as much about different brands and products as much as I would like. I recently learned about a new subscription service called Beauty Beyond Borders (3B) and I was super excited when I learned that their mission was to bring the best of beauty products from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan to your doorstep! For $15 or less, you’ll receive 4-5 deluxe samples of new or popular products in Asia that are hard to get your hands on and include such brands as Etude House, Skinfood, and Too Cool For School.
3B September box
Welcos Kwailnara Aloe Vera Soothing Gel
Skin 79 Super Plus Triple Function BB Cream
Etude House Honey Cera Eye Serum & Honey Cera Cream
Heimish All Clean Balm
I opened up the box and was excited with the amazing variety of products! I’m a BB cream junkie too so it was especially fun to see a new BB cream that I hadn’t tried before but from a brand that I had heard great things about! You can bet that I had to try it out asap:
Skin 79 Super Plus Triple Function BB Cream
I applied the BB cream with my damp Beauty Blender and was blown away with the incredible coverage! As someone who has hyperpigmentation issues around my cheeks, I was impressed that a little bit of the product went a long way to covering up the freckles completely! The shade is a little too light on me right now but hopefully when I inevitably lose a bit of my summer tan it’ll be a perfect match for my skin in the fall and winter months.
Etude House Honey Cera Eye Serum
Etude House is a brand I’ve been curious about for some time now after having heard about their BB creams in the past and I was excited to try out a couple of their skincare products! The Honey Cera line features honey and ceramide to nourish and firm the skin. I especially love that the eye serum contains honey, royal jelly, Vitamin B3, and in particular, hyalauronic acid as I’ve been trying to treat the creases in my undereye area for some time now. The serum sinks in instantly and I’ve been using it both morning and night!
As for the Etude House Honey Cera cream, the cream contains many of the same ingredients as the eye serum along with extracts of jojoba, cocoa, and white jelly mushroom. The cream is rich, luxurious and I love the soft, clean scent too!
I’m a big fan of using oil to remove my makeup as I find it nourishing and gentle on my skin (especially around my eyes!). The Heimish All Clean balm melts upon massaging it between my fingers and it was amazing at removing all traces of my makeup without the need for any harsh rubbing.
3B August box
Leaders 7 Wonders Amazonian Acai Anti-Pollution Mask
Goodall Lotus Water Cleansing Tissue
Etude House Age Defense Essential Softener
Tony Moly Floria Nutra-Energy Emulsion
Hera Waterin Gel Serum
I also received a sample of the August box and it was full of even more skincare goodies that I loved trying! Sheet face masks are always a favorite of mine and I was excited to try out this new one from Leaders 7 Wonders. It’s a gel mask and I was surprised at how well it stayed put versus previous sheet masks that I’ve used where I have to be careful of dripping essence. I left the mask on for 30 minutes and my skin felt incredibly smooth and hydrated afterwards!
Etude House Age Defense Essential Softener
Another new favorite was thisEtude House Age Defense Essential Softener. I only recently started adding a softener to my skincare routine as a step after cleaning and toning but before applying serum. I’ve noticed a huge difference in how well it helps the rest of my skincare aborb. This one from Etude House leaves my skin glowing!
If you love Asian skincare like I do and are always looking to get your hansd on the latest Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese brands, definitely give 3B a try! With 4-5 deluxe-size samples (and sometimes even a full-size item) in each box, it’s a great way to try out new products! Information cards are included in each box to help explain how to best use each product and I can definitely say that I’ve discovered a couple new gems. There are 3 different plans to choose from: monthly at $15/box, every 6 months at $14/box, or annually at $12/box! For the next 30 days, use code CUTEANDLITTLE to get a free bonus item in your 3B box!
