The countdown to the first day of school has started! We’ve got lots of changes on the horizon for us and it’s an exciting time for our family as the little ones prepare to head back to school! Dylan will be transferring to a new school this Fall for pre-k and our little Mei is starting school for the first time in the toddler room at our neighborhood Montessori school. Dylan has already been talking about his new school non-stop already (it has quite the playground, lol!) and I know Mei will love all the new things she’ll be learning at school and the first set of friends she’ll make there too. It is a bit bittersweet for me as I watch my little ones getting older, but I’m definitely excited for this next big milestone!
To get ready for that first day back, I did a little back-to-school shopping! The shopping was always one of my favorite parts about this time of year and it’s even more fun now that I have little ones who will still let me dress them up! This girl is a floral lover like me and with so many choices, I actually had a hard time narrowing down just one item for her. This floral tunic top is wonderful light linen fabric so it’s perfect for keeping cool while it’s still hot while the longer sleeves are allow it to transition into Fall!
