Best Sandals For This Summer (On Sale!)

Weekend sale roundups are one of my favorite posts to put together and I usually will check my inbox for the latest Groupon email to catch up on the latest promotions.  Let’s be honest, I love to browse online but there’s nothing that will make me hit ‘Checkout’ quicker than when I can add on a great deal!  This weekend I couldn’t help but notice some great shoes on sale and just in time for summer!  Macy’s is having a Friends & Family sale with an extra 30% off using code FRIEND and of course, I also found some super cute styles that just dropped at my favorite store, Nordstrom! So here are the best sandals for this summer!

STRAPPY SANDALS

Strappy sandals are a staple of summer and this year it’s all about the wood block heel.  I love that the chunky heel makes them more wearable for all-day walking and the wood grain gives it a casual, almost resort-style vibe.  How gorgeous is this pair with the criss-cross ankle straps and it’s under $100 with the 30% promotion!  This nude pair would also be a great neutral that goes with everything and the bow tie laces add such a feminine detail!

MULES

Mules have made a big comeback again this year and I love how easy they are to slip on and go — ideal if you’re a mom like me and never seem to have enough hands for everything!  This pretty bow pair is on it way to me (I couldn’t help it, lol!).  It comes in 3 colors and while I spent a good 10 minutes debating between the pink sand and pale peach colors, I ultimately went with the pale pink.  I can’t wait to wear them with all the pretty dresses!  I personally think of mules as almost a dressier alternative to flip flops, and I’m already thinking of all the mules I need in my closet!   This option is great if you’re looking for a darker-colored yet versatile pair while this white pair just screams summer!

ESPADRILLES

Espadrilles are another one of my favorite styles and a quintessential for summer!  I usually opt for a tall wedge option as I love the extra height given that I’m only 5′ tall and find that the platform makes them super easy when it comes to walking.  You’ve probably seen this style around everywhere (I own the tan color and wear them all. the. time.) but this lighter print pair is so much fun (and a great deal at 20% off!  And of course since bows are a weakness of mine, I am in love with this pretty pair — and seriously it’s only $62 now on sale!
