I fell in love with this black floral print and this loose tank top is one of those effortlessly cool tops that I can just throw on when I’m in a rush in the nornings without having to really think about it. The monochromatic black and white colors are easy to pair and look chic in even the simplest of outfits (as you can tell in my look with white jeans and nude pumps)!

Meanwhile, I actually kinda wanted the spotlight of this look to be on the shoes! There is a story behind these shoes and it actually dates back to Christmas of last year! Adrian had given me a pair of Louboutin shoes for Christmas last year and it was absolutely the sweetest, more generous gift ever. The style was the Louboutin Simple 100 patent pumps in nude and while they are undoubtedly a very classic shoe, part of me wanted something a little flashier with a pointed toe. Adrian was totally cool with me exchanging for a different style (he actually preferred a more pointed toe style too but thought I would like the timeless look of the Simple 100s) and so I actually went into the Louboutin store with the intent of exchanging for the Pigalle 100 pump.
Little did I realize that the Louboutin Pigalle 100 nude pumps are one of the most coveted pumps and a style that is actually super hard to come by! I ended up putting my name on the waiting list and since then have continued to check back with the store every month or so to see if a pair had been stocked. I then actually received a call a couple weeks ago from the store saying that my shoes had finally come in!
After making a beeline for the store, I ended up realizing that it was the Pigalle 85 style that had come in. I ended up trying on a few other shoes then since I was at the store and ended up falling in love with this “So Kate” style! The 120mm heel is a bit taller than I was originally planning but I found that with a little bit of practice (and a nice insole cushion later), it actually wasn’t so bad. The skinny cigarette heel is so sexy and I just love how great it makes my legs too too!
Needless to say, I’m a bit head over heels in love with these shoes and am actually finding every opportunity I can to wear them!
