I don’t think I’ve ever met a stripe I didn’t like and this one just has that laid-back polished vibe. Plus, whoever said vertical stripes is slimming is definitely right! I love the contrasting horizontal stripes of the waist tie and it’s perfect for adding some curves as well as creating a more fitted look. The waist tie is sewn together in place, making it so that I don’t have to fuss with it coming apart either. The fabric is a super lightweight cotton-poly blend and it’s a perfect choice for those hot and humid summer days! I love the versatility of this top as it can be worn casually as-is or dressed up under a blazer for work!

I paired the look with white cutoff shorts but I actually prefer it with these linen cuffed pair instead (currently on sale with free ship!). Finally, to add a small statement on the legs, I strapped on these gladiator sandals. These sandals have been one of my favorite shoes this summer as they’re super comfy (the leather quality is amazing), go with basically everything, and the tassel ties are just so cute!

First of all I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear
your head before writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes
are usually lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or
tips? Kudos!
