Hello and we made it to Friday!! It’s President’s Day weekend and while I don’t have any days off (I actually have a big project launch at work on Monday 😅), I’m definitely taking advantage of some of the great sales that are happening right now! I wore this outfit yesterday and while I hadn’t originally planned on taking any pictures, I snapped these super quick after receiving so many compliments from co-workers and noticing that the entire look was also basically on sale!
I’m crushing on blush and had to pull the trigger on these pants after I fell in love with the black version a few months ago (see on me). I love that they offer petite sizing as well as different inseam options in their regular sizing including short and tall. My petite size wasn’t available anymore so I went with the short inseam option and I’m so happy to say that these pants still fit perfectly without any alterations (I’m 5′ tall with a 24″ waist)! The waist is a bit loose but it’s was an easy fix just by cinching it with the sash. I love the high-waisted fit that helps elongate my short legs and the crepe-like material has a soft drape that looks luxurious and polished.
I paired it with this striped cocoon top as just love how the colors and fit coordinate — the dolman sleeves and slightly boxy fit are a great contrast to the more tailored pants! The shirt fabric is soft, flowy, and can be easily dressed up for work or dressed down with jeans for the weekend. The top does run a little shorter and while I’m normally between a XXSP and XSP in their tops, I actually love the slightly longer length that I get with the XSP.
