Blush Pink Tulle Mommy + Me // On Trend Tuesdays LinkUp

Seriously, how cute is this matching pink tulle skirt mommy + me outfit set?  This is my first time matching my little girl, and it may have started an addiction!  I was having a little “princess moment” with Kennedy as these skirts are just too fun to wear!  Tulle skirts are perfect for those festive get-togethers and you can bet that we’ll be re-wearing this look over the holidays as we visit family (and take all those requisite family photos!).  

I kept with a “pretty in pink” theme for this look, but I’m already dreaming up other ways that I can remix this skirt.  Dress it down with a graphic tee and moto jacket (both pink or black would look so cute!) or pair it with a polka dot sweater for those chillier days.  For other dressy options, this pink lace top would look so fancy as would this sequin blouse!

As for skirt details, it has 4 layers of tulle on top of a polyester satin lining; it makes for the perfect poufiness and the lining ensures that there’s no itchiness for you (or baby!).  I also love that the waistband is super soft and made of a plush neoprene-like material.  It’s secure without being restrictive and stretches nicely without cutting into the waist, something that I especially appreciated not only for potential food babies during the holidays but also because it would be comfortable for baby Kennedy!
