I had purchased this dress awhile ago with the intention of having a little maternity photoshoot with my boys, but the weather suddenly turned cold before I knew it and wearing a sleeveless chiffon maxi was the last thing I planned on doing. But as luck would have it, we had a rare warm weekend of 70-ish degree weather a couple weeks ago! While Dylan’s naptime didn’t exactly cooperate for a family photoshoot (and we didn’t have a photographer lined up last minute either), I wanted to take this pretty dress out for a spin and did a few maternity-inspired photos on my own!
I absolutely love the feminine butterfly design on this dress and the empire waist along with the open-front draping made for a bump-friendly style. While this dress would be perfect for a hot summer day (definitely looking forward to re-wearing it in a few months!), I also loved how the fall foliage colors complemented the soft pinks and oranges of the butterflies.
Meanwhile, I can’t believe my due date is less than a month away! #cantwaittomeether 🙂

You look absolutely lovely in the whimsical butterfly print dress, very pretty indeed! The lace cardigan is beautiful too, love this feminine style!
