I wanted a simple, casual look today — something that I could wear to work during the day and transition for a night out with blogger friends! The Grapevine Mills Mall invited a few Dallas bloggers out for their Sizzling Summer of Style and Savings event and I was lucky enough to have a fellow reader, Thanh, join me! Events like this can be somewhat intimidating for an introverted person like me, but being among similar fashion-oriented made the conversation flow easily. We talked about everything from local Dallas restaurants (apparently Mr. Max is where it’s at for ramen!), YouTube vloggers, and of course, the sales happening around different stores. I love events like this that bring together bloggers and readers as it’s a chance to actually make some real connections and build some friendships.
For my local Dallas readers, you’ll be happy to know that Grapevine Mills Mall will be undergoing lots of revamping in the next few months! Lots of effort is being made to make the place more spacious, fresh, and modern. Several major stores including Nike, Saks Off 5th, and Michael Kors have already or are planning to open large flagship stores in the location. For me, I was sucked in by the large H&M and Forever 21 stores located direcly across from one another. I didn’t even make it past that little corner of the mall by the time the night was over!
In other news, I just announced that I’ll be co-hosting a Poshmark Posh Party on Wednesday, August 14th from 6:30 – 8:30pm. Come out and say hello!

It was nice to meet you. I'm definitely going to follow your blog, looking through my non-work collection of clothes, I really need an update and more interesting peices (hello, purses!). I can also get super shy and conversationally awkward but the chardonnay helped 🙂 P.S. I've been looking for bracelets & rings lately, I just went to a Stella & Dot truck show and picked up 1 bracelet but the rings were all sized too big for me, I guess I'm around a 4, do you know where to find nice rings in small sizes that don't tarnish?

Hi Mariko!
It was great to meet you! Small rings are pretty hard to find. I would recommend checking sites like Etsy for custom-sized rings or even eBay and Overstock.com (where you can filter by ring size). If it's a particular ring that you love that's too big, you can try taking it to a jeweler and they can try resizing it too (although resizing is not cheap).
For cheaper solutions, you can also try these ring snuggies.
They're just little rubber sizers that can help rings feel more snug.
Hope this helps!
