Monthly subscription boxes are all the rage right now and I’ve definitely been curious about the ones targeted towards little ones. As a first-time mom, I’m always researching items would be good for Dylan, whether it’s the best sippy cup or the best way to teach him the alphabet. As you can imagine, recommendations from other parents always are the most helpful. Citrus Lane was created to provide this exact service (save $10 with code BLOGPOST). They ship out monthly care packages for newborns and children up to age 5 that include products recommended and reviewed by their advisory board as well as their community of moms and dads.

I was so excited to receive my first Citrus Lane box a couple of weeks ago for Dylan. The box is curated based on your child’s age (Dylan is 16 months) and mine was stuffed to the brim with 5 different goodies. All boxes contain a combination of toys, games, snacks, and personal care items.

Tambourine, Ice Packs, Laundry Detergent, Bath Toys, Storybook |
Toddler Tambourine from Hohner Kids: Dylan is really into musical instruments right now so he absolutely loved this tambourine. It was easy for him to hold and I appreciated the fact that the design is completely enclosed so I didn’t worry about him hurting his fingers.
Cool It Buddy Instant Cold Pack from Me4Kidz: Dylan has had his share of bumps and bruises and an ice pack that can be stored in my purse is so handy. I love that these ice packs are activated with just a firm shake and the cute penguin design makes a nice distraction.
Laundry Detergent Pacs from Dropps: We are always doing laundry in this house so I couldn’t wait to try out these detergent pacs. I love that these pacs make doing laundry so easy — no measuring or pouring, which is pretty hard when you have one arm carrying a wriggling toddler. This detergent is made for sensitive, delicate skin yet gets even the toughest toddler stains out. I love that it’s free of dyes and enzymes yet still leaves my clothes clean and soft, even without using fabric softener!
Scrubble from Boon: Boon makes the cutest baby items (we love their drying rack) that I don’t even mind when I see them laying out on the floor. These Scrubbles are bath toys that can be filled up with water and squirted out. Dylan actually used these as a teething toy instead of using them to scrub in the tub, but I’ll take it!
Babybug Magazine + Digital Subscription: Dylan is loving books right now so I was happy to see one included in the box. The Babybug magazine is actually the winner of the Parents’ Choice Silver Award and I loved that the book subscription contains age-appropriate stories and poems (starting at 6 months+). I do wish that these were actually board books (the paper is thick, but not cardboard) as Dylan likes to manhandle the pages when he reads. But, the stories were just the right length to keep Dylan engaged and he was a definite fan.
The box had a great mix of items and I loved trying out new products that I hadn’t heard of before. The price of the items in my box added up to $32.98 (if purchased from Amazon) and certainly exceeds the $25 purchase price. This is definitely a great value!
I was also happy to see that Citrus Lane recently added a shop! Even those who don’t have a Citrus Lane subscription can take advantage of the deals offered in the Citrus Lane shop. The shop is stocked with the most popular Citrus Lane products and you can read recommendations from the Citrus Lane community as well.
And now for the exciting part: the giveaway! I am giving away a $25 voucher to the Citrus Lane shop to a lucky reader.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you found this review helpful!

Yeah I've seen soo many types of subscription boxes! I'm interested in the detergent. I always like trying out baby skin and household products b/c they're usually unscented or naturally scented and good for sensitive skin like mine 😀 😀

I like the 3 sprouts goat hamper!
I would get the ballet studio jumbo puzzle more than likely.
Some subscription boxes don't really deliver, but it looks like you hit the jackpot with this company! What a fun assortment of goodies.
Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any recommendations for inexperienced blog writers?
I'd certainly appreciate it.
