Sometimes when I shop my closet for new outfits, I come with some unexpected results. Take my outfit for today, for example. I never would’ve thought to pair hot pink with cobalt blue, but I actually think I really like the combination! Maybe it’s because of all the colorblocking and mixing of bright colors that we’ve been seeing for months now, but this combination of two “clashing” colors doesn’t really seem like too much at all. In fact, I think I could actually even had added a bright sunny yellow top with this outfit and it would’ve been even more fab. Now who wants to find me a nice yellow top… 😉

I've been lucky enough not to have had braces or a retainer or any sort of teeth correction previously. I think it's partly genetics as my dad has picture perfect teeth naturally too!

Just Better Together
I'm shopping my closet for the next few months, and it's a nice way to look at what I have from a fresh perspective. Also a great way to force myself to get creative and wear some items that normally get ignored!

I love blue and pink together! I did a hot pink skirt and blue cardigan not too long ago and really liked it. Sometimes colors you think wouldn't go together end up working out the best! I have a color wheel (kind of nerdy, I know) and I use this for inspiration and pairing color combos together. Your earrings are really pretty too, btw. Have a nice weekend! Heather

I love the colours you paired together the cobalt blue and the pink skirt! That sweater is beautiful, I wanted to get it but when I went back…it was like the grim reaper got to the zippers and they were falling off or got dragged off the seam!
I got this cardigan on clearance and there is a small part towards the very bottom of the right side where the zipper is dragged off of the seam. 🙁 it seems like a common problem to have with this thing so i've been super careful when wearing it.

have you tried the waterfall braid? i like that.
i did bleach them way back in during my college days (~2001, i think?) at Castle Dental when they had a $200 promotional offer. i used the old-school way of tooth trays and bleaching gel that you'd leave in for 4 hours or so. my teeth were noticeably whiter — i did my teeth on top first just so i could see the different with my bottom teeth. it was remarkable! i haven't done any bleaching since then but i don't really drink coffee, teas, or coke.
i definitely recommend teeth whitening! there are lots of Groupons for it in Dallas that make it pretty reasonable, so maybe see if they have similar deals in your city?
and i've seen pictures of the waterfall braid but haven't tried it out before. i think i'll give it a shot this weekend. 🙂
