I’ve been on a monochromatic streak lately, but given that today’s Color Brigade Day, I had to spice it up a bit! I decided to keep the main outfit in the same blue family, but added in touches of cognac, gold, and coral in the accessories. Thank goodness for accessories to save the day!

And speaking of accessories, I’m totally in love with the peri cameo trend. I first saw it on Kelly and Jean and then started noticing it everywhere!! I really love the vintage aspect of the cameo necklace and find that it easily dresses up the outfit!

I love this photo location! Gorgeous. I always liked your rooftop photos, but ever since you have been branching out it seems like the photos have just gotten more and more stunning! Makes me want to be more adventurous, too.

think. less people milling about getting their happy hour on. and the sun
doesn't set here until 8pm now and i generally don't want to wait that late

I dont know what the difference really is. However, Im going to get rebel xsi the body and invest in lens. Im going to get it soon…very exciting…just need your opinion of those differences. Thnaks kileen 🙂

hm, i think those 2 lenses are the same, but mine does have the autofocus (which is what i set it on when i'm doing self pics). and how exciting that you're going to invest in the XSi!! it's a great DSLR camera and takes absolutely wonderful pictures! the Canon 50mm f1.8 lens is definitely my fave, although it can be hard to use to take full-body pictures as it's a pretty zoomed in lens. but i love it for my outfit pictures! 🙂

i had to shrink these pants twice in the dryer and still have them cuffed on the bottom. i'm now thinking that i might just have to bite the bullet and have them hemmed. they're so big and baggy, lol. 🙂

I think I'm pretty lucky that I live near downtown Dallas where there are somewhat interesting photo spots. Makes my daily picture taking much more fun. 🙂 Your last outdoor shoot looked incredible though and I really enjoyed your pictures! I'm sure you'll only get better too with more trial and error. 🙂
