Basic stretchy maternity tops with side ruching are my most worn items when I’m pregnant and just want something casual and comfy to wear. Once the weekend rolls around, you’re almost sure to find me in this kind of top with either skinny jeans or yoga pants (stretchy pants are another pregnancy gal’s best friend!). I love the pop of color on the hem of this top as I feel like it almost dresses up the basic look.
This was an outfit I wore last weekend and while high-heeled knee-high boots aren’t normally in my lazy-weekend repertoire, I had just received this pair in the mail and couldn’t wait to wear them out — we don’t have many months of boot weather here in Texas so I take advantage every chance I get! These boots run narrow in the calves (14″ circumference) and come up perfectly right below the knee (15″ shaft height). If you’re on the petite side, these are absolutely perfect! The stacked heel is comfortable, easy to walk in, and the added height undoubtedly makes me feel a little more glam and put together.
Meanwhile I’m happy that’s it’s the weekend again and don’t have any plans since Sunday is my actual due date. I have an OB appointment coming up later today with a sonogram included as well to check baby’s size so I’m excited to get another peek at my baby girl!

Aw the sonograms are the best part!!! I hope that everything is as it should be and maybe the next time I read your blog you will be telling us about that little princess making her debut! So excited for you!
Lovin' the bright, orange tote. Have a great weekend! 😉

Love the contrast of the block stripes with the thin stripes found on the top, very lovely design! And the brown boots with heels is very beautiful too!
