Sometimes you find treasure where you least expect it. My mom has always been an amazing bargain hunter and it’s from her that I developed a love shopping at discount stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Ross. Since we moved to our new house this past January, I was excited to see a Ross Dress for Less location next door to the supermarket that I stop at every week when loading up on groceries. I love popping in every so often when I have some extra time on the weekends and recently worked on a social media campaign with Ross to style a few dresses that I found. While a blog post was not required for this project, these outfits are some of my favorites so I had to share them over here with you too! While every Ross store does carry a slightly different selection of items, I picked up all of these pieces in the past couple of weeks so definitely stop into your store to see if they have something similar. I’ve made sure to include all the label info as well as link up similar items too!
Look 1:
Dress: Derek Heart Cowl Lace-Up Sweater Dress via Ross Dress for Less c/o (similar, similar, similar)
Trench: Express Classic Trench w/ Trapunto Stitch (petite-friendly, sizing goes down to XXS!)
Shoes: Sam Edelman ‘Sable’ – 25% off!
Watch: Breda ‘Joule’ c/o
Earrings: Kendra Scott ‘Brenden’ via Rocksbox – use kileenxoxo for 1 month free!
This dress was the best find ever and I can’t believe it was only $12.99! I love the lace-up detail down the side as well as the cowl turtleneck that just makes it extra cozy. The dress is sleeveless and, as one girl commented to me when I wore it to dinner last weekend, it’s like the “perfect Summer to Fall dress!” For a bit of layering, I kept with the neutral tones and added this trench coat that I had picked up from Express last year. I was happy to see that they brought back the exact style as it’s a classic and surprisingly petite-friendly too (sizing goes down to XXS!).
These suede over-the-knee boots are seriously so amazing and I can’t believe they’re marked down 25%! They’re perfect for petite legs as they go up just past my knees and run slim in the calves too. There is a zipper opening on the bottom making it convenient for pulling down pants that may have gotten bunched up and the heel is a very walkable 3.5″.
Look #2:
Dress: Tacera Zipper Dress via Ross Dress for Less c/o (similar, similar)
Shoes: Forever 21 Suede Boots (old, similar, similar)
Hat: Caslon Suede Trim Floppy Hat
Watch: Breda ‘Joule’ c/o
Earrings: Kendra Scott ‘Brenden’ via Rocksbox – use kileenxoxo for 1 month free!
How pretty is the color of this dress? I love darker tones this time of year and especially love rich jewel tones like emeralds, teals, and purples. This dress is actually a couple sizes too big but I just couldn’t say no. The shoulders actually fit pretty well so I just ended up having the length and sleeves shortened a bit! I would say that when shopping at discount stores, be sure to check styles that may not be your exact size as you may never know what treasures you may find!
I also just have to say that this suede floppy hat is also my new Fall go-to! I love accessorizing with hats this time of year and needed a hat that was slightly floppy but still had enough structure to hold a shape. This one is absolutely perfect and just barely over $50 — definitely worth it for a statement maker!
Look #3:
Dress: Calvin Klein Lace-Up Maxi via Ross Dress for Less (similar, similar)
Shoes: Jessica Simpson ‘Aggie’ (old, similar, similar)
Bag: SheIn Lock Crossbody
Watch: Breda ‘Joule’ c/o
Earrings: Kendra Scott ‘Brenden’ via Rocksbox – use kileenxoxo for 1 month free!
Yes, more lace-up! I can’t get enough of this style as it’s the perfect combination of a style that’s as romantic as it is sexy. I love that the lace-up neckline on this dress isn’t too deep and is contrasted nicely with long sleeves and a long hemline. And for just a peek of skin, this knee-high slit is perfect!

Great outfits! I love the boots in look #1 but I’m 5’11” which makes finding OTK boots almost impossible. I wish they made them taller hehe!
