I can’t believe it’s taken me 2 days to finally finish editing this post. Baby Kennedy has somehow gotten a really bad cough and it just breaks my heart to see her waking herself up from her coughing fits. Here’s keeping my fingers crossed that the worst of it is over today.

One of the best parts of blogging is discovering new designers and I am so happy to have found Jean Kaori. Her pieces are designed specifically for petites and cater to the busy woman who juggle busy lives but still want to look put together (insert hand-raising icon here). Her pieces are versatile; pieces are designed so that they can be worn to work and also later to drinks or out on the town! All her pieces are made in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the small batch output ensures that care is taken with each piece.

The weight and beautiful construction of this jacket is definitely a testament to quality and attention to detail that the brand promises. I love the cropped petite-friendly fit and casual drape of the front lapels. It adds the perfect finishing touch to even the most basic t-shirt and jeans outfit!
I’m also always looking for cute graphic tees to style and I like that this one has a bit of a fancy vibe with the script writing and I just love the whimsical “in my dreams we were flying” message. I can’t wait to pair this tee with a fancy skirt for a dressed up look!
