I’ve been playing with proportions lately and have been loving pairing a crop top with high-waisted bottoms (you guys might remember this crop top outfit from a couple days ago!). I took these culottes with me on my trip to Portland and they were perfect for when I wanted to change into something nice yet still have a low-key, casual vibe. Meanwhile I took a chance on this crop top and absolutely love the wrap-around style paired with the long sleeves that balance out the shorter torso length — it’s currently 50% off and I’m considering picking it up in white too. I simply love this crop top outfit! The fabric is woven and has more structure to it than your typical top, giving it an elevated look and a sense of class! While I’m not typically one to bare my midriff, I actually really love the way a crop top looks when paired with high-waisted bottoms as it can give the illusion of long legs, something I could definitely use more of!

I also did a little experimenting with these pictures and tried out a new lens that I don’t normally use for outfits! I borrowed it from a friend for the trip and am in love with the different angles that I could capture with it. It’s had me thinking that maybe I need to add it to my camera collection? (…if only it didn’t cost more than my camera itself!)
