Express was having a big sale last week and I picked up a couple cropped trousers to try out. I’ve always felt that cropped trousers are the ideal pants for the warmer months as it lets you show off a little bit of ankle (and shoe!) while still keeping it professional for the workplace.
I noticed this pair of trousers on the Express site and while it hits the model at mid-calf, it’s just above my ankle on my petite 26″ inseam legs. Honestly I find this length perfect for those who are a bit shorter as the longer hem elongates the leg a bit more while still keeping true to the cropped style. Best part is, I can wear these pants straight off the rack without any alterations! My mom (aka tailor) will be happy. 🙂
As for why there are spots on my pants, I got caught in the rain! A big storm happened to
pass through town right around 3PM today and by the time I took pictures
after work, there was no avoiding the inevitable frizzy hair. But I am
happy that I was able to at least snap a few pictures before the real
torrential downpour came minutes later!

The cropped pants look great on you Kileen! I like how Express 00 sizes usually fit me right off the rack as well. I didn't use to like wearing cropped pants but I'll have to keep an eye open for these 😀

I tried on similar cropped/ankle pants from Express and they looked horrendous on me. Being in-between sizes isn't fun 🙂 I love all the browns and golds against the gray, an unexpected but flattering combination!

WOW!! I have no idea Express does have cropped pants!! I need to check out my express store. I know that I always get JCrew pants since they are the one that fit me best so far and I just got me a minnie pants since my pixie pants are falling off ( I wear it everyday) but its always good to have more than one cropped pants and I really love your color too!!!
I dont know if you try any hair product for frizziness ( my hair is so frizzy like lion's hair) but Morrocon Oil work the best for me, not only it make your hair smooth but it also take away the frizziness, my staple go to for this rainy season and summer
