Hello and happy Monday!  This weekend flew by and it’s hard to believe that we’re going into the last weekend in June already.  My brother-in-law dropped in to visit over the weekend and it was crazy to realize that it’s been almost 2 years since we last got together.  We’ve been grilling outdoors, enjoying some pool time, and staying up past our bedtime just basking in the long days of summer. 😎

4th of July Outfits

With the Fourth of July coming up, I wanted to share some quick 4th of July outfits if you’re looking for something cute and festive.  LOFT just kicked off their Independence Day sale too so lots of really pieces are marked down just in time!  I picked up this smocked cami in my last haul and absolutely love the rainbow polka dots as well as peplum ruffle.  It’s no doubt that smocked styles are my favorite right now as I just love how figure flattering they are while also being stretchy and comfy.  It’s perfect for enjoying some food and drink this holiday and the peplum flare on this tank is also a plus for concealing that food baby! 😉

I’ve slooooowly been getting into the mom jeans trend, even though the skinny jeans are definitely not leaving my closet just yet!  I do admit that I like having some extra wiggle room in my jeans and this pair from Abercrombie has been my absolute fave out of the many, many pairs that I’ve tried on over the last few weeks.  The short and extra-short inseams are perfect if you’re petite (I actually found the extra-short to be too short! 😲) and the rips align perfectly with where my knees are as well.  Abercrombie also has a “curve” option which I really appreciate when it comes to providing a style that fits different body types, although personally I’ve found the non-curve jeans to fit better on me.  Also, if you haven’t tried Abercrombie’s mom shorts, they are absolutely incredible — they were a bestseller last year and I’m so glad to see that it’s a style that’s come back this year!
