I wore this outfit yesterday. I’m a little late in writing this up cause Adrian (the fiance) and I decided to have our little date night. It was actually supposed to be our little Valentine’s Day date night as going out on a Monday night isn’t going to happen for us. Since we didn’t plan anything beforehand, it was just going to be a simple dinner and a movie date for us. On the agenda was Pei Wei (cause I was craving some Dan Dan noodles), followed by No Strings Attached (cause I lurrrve Natalie Portman). After finishing dinner, we ended up having almost 2 hours before the movie started. So what did we do? We went to the mall early and ended up going on a little we-should-get-this-cause-we’re-getting-married shopping spree. Otherwise known as filling up your wedding registry. I can’t wait to get a little KitchenAid mixer. Baking, here I come! 🙂

Aww, is the fiance a recent development? Nevertheless, congrats on the upcoming nuptials! I like the pink scheme of your outfit. Very appropriate for V-day!

Fun! I love the ribbons on that cardigan!!
Tip on the wedding registry…go with neutral colors! I had in my mind that I wanted yellow kitchen accents five years ago…lol! Not anymore, but I have a yellow mixer. Oh well!
Super cute outfit! I also like the matching belt and shoes 🙂 Planning a wedding is a lot of work but it is fun at the same time. Enjoy your weekend!
I adore the sweet pink skinny belt. Love the previous outfits as well, particularly the hot pink skirt ensemble. Exquisite!
Awe..what a cute date night outfit! I love the skinny belt with it..so adorable!!! 🙂
@Michelle oh great tip!! will do. 🙂
I really like those shoes! They look like some shoes they had at UO, but I bet these were a better deal!
I love the romantic ruffles on the cardigan – perfect for a date!

What a perfect girly outfit for date night! Love the pinks and purples.
beautiful combinaton of the light tones! and I am in love with your shoes!!
Your blouse is lovely! How was the movie?
Oh, I want a Kitchen Aid mixer, too! They're so expensive, though, and I'm still wondering if it would make me bake more if I did buy one. One time, I tried to bake English muffin bread using a hand mixer and promptly broke the poor thing. I had to knead my dough by hand. 🙁
Wedding registries are fun. I want a Kitchen Aid mixer, but I know I will never use it. My boyfriend does all the cooking, he would probably use it like crazy.
My Heart Blogged
I love your cardigan! That color is really pretty and flattering on you.
You will love the Kitchenaid Mixer! I use mine all the time, and I'm not even the biggest cook out there. It makes the best cookies ever!

Your outfit is so romantic and totally right for Valentine's Day! I love the button down with the outfit, makes it look so vintage and nostalgic for the upcoming spring. I also guessed your cardigan and skirt before I scrolled down heehee, I might be a shopaholic.
@Banhannas haha, you crack me up! i actually wanted to do a little double-duty with my outfit and wear it to both work and the date, which is why it's not super dressy. but i really like it and am glad it worked.
and you're not a shopaholic. you're just into clothes. 🙂
Such pretty colors! I really like pink paired with grey, and then the pop of color from your shoes!
I've got a giveaway on my blog: Anthropologie gift card!

So pretty, Kileen!
omg love your outfit.. i die over your loft cardigan the ruffles are so pretty!!
That outfit is amazing! Sounds like you and your fiance had a great evening. I think it is a good idea to do Valentine's Day a couple of days before the actual day if you're busy or something as a lot of people are out on that day (naturally). In Norway, Valentine's Day isn't a big deal so my boyfriend and I have never really done anything. But it is so nice to hear that others are having a good time out.
The color combination is super cute! That is a really cool looking cardigan. AND THE SHOES! Pink heels are so cute! I never knew one can wear pink heels so elegantly!
sounds like a nice evening. i really love the colors here…browns and pinks are romantic and perfect for the upcoming season.
