Figuring out what to wear in the mornings has become more of a challenge these days as it’s always a surprise as to what I can make fit and flatter over the belly these days (I feel like these past 2 weeks it’s really popped!). I’m trying not to buy too many maternity clothes and instead figuring out how to re-purpose my existing wardrobe. I picked up this trapeze dress several years ago and while the billowy cut definitely fit over the bump, the trick was figuring out a way to create some shape so that I didn’t end up looking like a giant blimp! This double-looped belt was fortunately just long enough to wrap around and this sparkly statement necklace added the finishing touch of glam.
Thanks so much for reading!

I loved trying to stretch my closet (figuratively and literally) when I was pregnant. I still do it now, since I still cannot fit into most of my clothes–I am STILL in maternity pants. Ugh. Oh well! You look adorable and I don't think you could EVER look like a blimp! This dress is super cute!

That is such a cute dress on you! 🙂
I did the same thing in my pregnancy – wore as much of my existing wardrobe as I could, so that I wouldn't have to buy maternity clothes and could instead spend money on cute baby clothes, hehe! 🙂 Dresses are good for being able to wear for a lot of pregnancy – they are usually very forgiving! 🙂
