Thank you all for your sweet comments on Mei’s nursery reveal in yesterday’s post!  Interior design is something I’m working on getting better at and but after the fun of decorating the nursery, I’m on a home decor kick right now!  I’ve got a few more projects in flight already so stay tuned for more home updates coming soon!

It’s all about embroidery details this summer and I just love this little white dress with its flirty flounce hem.  Now that we’re in the hottest days of summer, having a lightweight flowy dress like this is such a nice option for those days that I’m outside and don’t want anything sticking to me.  The intricate embroidery details actually remind me a bit of the muumuu dresses of my childhood but this one has a slightly more flattering, slimming silhouette and the flounce hem is just the perfect playful addition!

This dress is a one-size-fits-all sizing which can be tricky for petites, but fortunately I didn’t find it too oversized.  The hem does come down to almost my knees and the sleeves were a bracelet length on me.  Personally I prefer the more modest fit and felt like it worked perfectly with the boho style.  This dress would also be the perfect layering piece for those beach or pool days!  It’ll definitely be coming with me on my trip to Jamaica next week!

To complete the boho look, I paired the dress with these lace-up gladiators.  I love that they make a statement yet are still easy to wear and walk in.  The cognac color is perfect for pairing with almost everything and the suede adds a luxe feel to even a basic outfit!
