Adrian and I have been taking turns traveling the past couple of weeks so we took advantage of a weekend where we were all at home to take the kids out for an afternoon at the Arboretum! While I love walking among all the blooming foliage, the kids love playing in the children’s adventure garden. The weather was amazing, the flowers were beautiful, and it felt great to get some fresh air! The Arboretum can be a bit of a trek so I was glad to have our double stroller for the kids to sit in. This Evenflo stroller has been such a great option to have for the kids as it’s super lightweight and is easy to open up / fold down. While I love the suspension and storage space of our double jogging stroller, sometimes I just want the ease and simplicity of an umbrella stroller. Thankfully, this Evenflo stroller combines the best of both worlds as it’s light and compact yet has the sturdiness and cushioning of something much larger!
My favorite feature is actually the unique one-hand, self standing fold — it makes it so easy to put away even when I need to have one other hand attending to the kids. Dylan and Mei love sitting side-by-side and I don’t have to worry about any power struggles with who gets the “better” seat. Nonetheless, it’s still narrow enough that I don’t have any issues fitting through doors and walkways (I’ve taken it on many trips to the mall already with the kiddos!) — plus the smaller footprint makes it such that it doesn’t get in other people’s way! Each seat of the Evenflo stroller also reclines independently and has large canopies for sun coverage so we’ve definitely been able to have a few stroller naps in it!
I’ve been wearing this gingham romper nonstop and just love it! I love all things gingham come summertime and this one has the cutest ruffle hem! The romper comes with a sash that can be tied in the back like I did here or even wrapped around the waist (which is how I wore it the first time around!). Sizing runs a little big as I’m wearing the size small and did need to shorten shoulder straps a couple inches so that it wasn’t so low cut. It’s a great piece to throw-on-and-go and still look chic!
I was finally able to convince Mei to wear her Victoria Beckham x Target dress! She’s pretty particular about her outfits and has usually required her clothes to have either cats of princesses, so this was a small victory!
This is the look of Dylan getting into some trouble, lol!
