Nothing gets me more excited when getting dressed than a pair of new shoes! Now that temps are finally cooling down and that fall is in full swing, I couldn’t help but want to give my wardrobe a little fall fashion overhaul. I love the different styles that I can have fun with — from ankle booties to over-the-knee boots and trends such as velvet and embroidery. I recently checked out Shoe Carnival to update my fall shoe collection and was impressed with their amazing selection of shoes perfect for fall fashion in all styles and colors! And even better is that Shoe Carnival offers it all at affordable prices — so I can shop to my heart’s content without breaking the bank!
I picked up 3 pairs of shoes from Shoe Carnival and am so excited to be sharing them here with you! You won’t believe some of the incredibly chic styles that I found and how they really took my outfit from basic to statement!

First up is my absolute favorite pair: the Madden Girl Prissley Over-The-Knee Boots. You guys know how obsessed I am with the over-the-knee boot style so my heart skipped a beat when I noticed this one for under $80! The soft taupe color is perfect for pairing with different outfits and I love the low 1 1/2″ block heel, making then easily walkable and even wearable for the office. The top is cinched with a lace-up closure and the tassel detail is such an on-trend addition! I normally have issues with over-the-knee boots slipping down my leg as I’m walking but was surprised that I actually didn’t have any issues with this pair. There is an inside zipper towards the bottom half of the boot that allows for easy adjusting of pants too if needed. I actually recommend picking up these velcro boot straps for keeping pant legs in place underneath boots as well as trying the Invisible Heels for just a bit of added height if you’re petite like me (I used the 3/4″ ones here). These boots layer perfectly over jeans as shown above but also wear well on their own when worn with a skirt or dress — plus they come in both a taupe and black color!
Top: LOFT Striped Sweater (similar)
Bottom: H&M A-Line Mini Skirt (size up!)
Shoes: Zigi Soho Majori OTK Boots via Shoe Carnival
worn with 3/4″ Invisible Heels
Bag: Tory Burch Swing Pack (similar)
Tory Burch Pom Pom Charm
Earrings: Baublebar Bahama Pom Poms
The over-the-knee boot (otk) obsession continues. This high-heel otk style is a huge fall fashion trend right now (I even got my mom to purchase her first pair the other day!) and the beige color is perfect for pairing with lighter outfits during this fall transition season. These boots are pull-on with no zipper and I’ve found that the best way to put these one is to unroll them from the top before rolling them up after you slip your foot in. If you have a wider-calf and have trouble with finding over-the-knee styles that fit (especially in the thigh area), I would highly recommend this pair as they do run bigger throughout and have lots of stretch! The heel is 3 1/2″ tall with a block style and 1/2″ platform to make for easy walking and comfort. I love the way these boots look paired with this season’s mini skirts especially! With 3 different colors to choose from, you can be sure to have a pair that will match with your outfit!
Shoes: Y-Not Adel via Shoe Carnival
Cardigan: The Limited Waist Tie Cardigan (old, similar)
Top: Banana Republic Floral Shell (old, similar)
Bottom: SheIn Wide-Leg Pants c/o (similar – 40% off!)
Bag: Tory Burch ‘Fleming’
And lastly, I needed some new pumps for the office and the Y-Not Adel grey pair had the prettiest embroidery detail that I could not resist! Combined with a slightly flared out block heel, a luxe suede microfiber, and a rounded toe box, these shoes complete any outfit with an understated statement. This style comes in 3 colors so you can pick your favorite below!
