Ok, so before we get started, I just wanted to let you know that I actually kinda debated for a while whether I wanted to share this first picture…  It’s so super serious and I think I kinda have a mean RBF going on (and in case you’re wondering, I actually took the shot just as my initial picture to test out my camera settings and wasn’t expecting to actually like the way it turned out at all, lol).  But it’s kinda different for me, and I think it actually shows the makeup in a good light, so… here it is. 😆

Ok, whew, so now let’s continue.  It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a beauty post but now that Fall is actually here, I’ve been feeling inspired to update my look!  Charlotte Tilbury is a line that I’ve been wanting to try more of recently so I may have made a rather embarrassing large haul a few weeks ago… But the makeup is just so good and I’m super excited to share a fun Fall-inspired look with some new goodies you need to try for yourself!

I may have done a little too much damage this year when it came to Charlotte Tilbury but I’m kinda obsessed with her entire product line right now.  The biggest trend this fall is all about matte berry hues when it comes to lips.  it’s that “just kissed, bitten” look and it’s the perfect time to play with stains, balms, and lipsticks in rich reds and even vampy mauves.  If there’s only one item you pick up, don’t miss the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick –the Bond Girl shade is absolute fall perfection, the texture is velvety, and the formula is surprisingly hydrating especially for a matte!

When it comes to the face, I try to keep things pretty simple and minimal.  I don’t like heavy products on my skin so I picked up a few new goodies that came highly recommended:  the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, the Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow, and the Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer / Highlight Duo.  I’ve been wearing the Magic Cream off and on and while it was a little too moisturizing for my skin when the weather was still in the 90s, it’s finally cooled off to the 60s – 70s and the cream is absolutely amazing.  While the jar is pricey, a little bit goes a long way!  I can usually cover my entire face with just a pea-sized scoop.

I also highly recommend the Bronzer / Highlight Duo if you’re looking for a natural, contoured look.  I’m pretty picky when it comes to bronzers and highlighters as many bronzers make my skin look dirty and the highlight is just too sparkly.  This one by Charlotte Tilbury though is seriously the best combination of subtle shades and has the smoothest formula to give you that inner lit glow!

And when it comes to glow, the Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow is a product I’ve been playing around with and figuring out how to best use.  While the packaging has stated that it’s a primer, I’ve actually found it to be super beautiful as a highlight!  The product has a bit of subtle sparkle to it and it’s just gorgeous when applied right at the top of the cheekbones to brighen up under the eyes.
