I’m loving the 70s trend that is happening now (check out my suede skirt outfit in case you missed it!) and flare jeans are making a major comeback this season.  I pulled out this old pair that I had purchased from Victoria’s Secret years ago back when they were still selling denim and instantly remembered why it is that I love this style of jean so much!  I love pairing this style with platform shoes as it gives the illusion of longer legs and the flare style balances out the look of broad shoulders too (which is especially an issue whenever I’m wearing off-shoulder tops!).

I also wanted to introduce you to a new petite shop that I just can’t get enough of right now — Plum Society!  I first discovered Plum Society on Instagram and was drawn to the fact that the brand offers clothing specifically for petite women!  I loved reading the background story behind the brand and in all my emails with the owner, Stephanie, it’s apparent how much thought and research she puts behind everything she does.  The clothing line is definitely a reflection of just that!  Each piece is carefully hand selected as Stephanie strives to bring the styles she loves from Tokyo and Seoul back to the U.S.  

I love the off-shoulder style of this blouse — we’re still in a bit of an Indian summer and while mornings / evenings can be crisp, the afternoons are perfect for baring a little shoulder!  The hibiscus floral print gives a subtle Asian vibe and the ruffle details make it such a beautifully feminine piece.
