How was your weekend? Adrian and I were both able to get in a nice sweaty yoga session this morning and it felt so good to get everything stretched out. We followed it with an amazing brunch at a new-ish restaurant that opened up called Origin and this place is hands-down amazing. I ordered a Jess Special (egg whites, almond butter, banana, and cinnamon bowl) for Dylan and I ended up wolfing down the whole thing instead! It seems like such an easy combination but it was beyond tasty. I can see this as a perfect, quick weekday breakfast so let’s see if I can re-create this deliciousness on my own!
This outfit I actually wore on Friday of last week and while it was a little on the dressier side, it was nice to change it up after having dressed a bit more casually before that. When I first bought this skirt, I was afraid that I’d have no idea how to style it and that it would end up being something I only wore for fancy occasions. Thank goodness it’s soon becoming part of my regular rotation! Here’s a little styling inspiration that would work for any sort of green skirt or bottom:

And one more quick note, I stopped by the mall this afternoon (had to return the pink moto jacket from this LOFT order as it was too big) and ended up picking up these beautiful nude patent bow sandals from Steve Madden (order 1/2 size up! Use code MARSM1 for 15% off or MARSM8 if you spend >$100 + SMFREE50 for free ship). I’ve been wanting a new pair of nude sandals after my previous ones started to hurt my feet (I’d stick to buying jewelry and bags from their site and skip the shoes) and these are classy and feminine. Now I just need some warm weather and a pedicure so I can start wearing them. 🙂

I really love that skirt! You styled it in so many ways and had my doubts about buying because I didn't think I could get much use out of it… Lovely!

Gosh I can't take my eyes off the skirt – do you wear it to work, too? Love Steve Madden and I can't wait till the weather is warm enough over here to wear shoes like that 🙂 And yes: Pedicure is a must 😉
Yes, I've worn the 3 looks that I show in the collage to work. I get compliments on the skirt every time I wear it. 🙂
