How was your weekend? Adrian and I went to our first Bar Mitzvah this Saturday and I can’t remember the last time I had so much fun! The celebration was for one of Adrian’s co-worker’s son and while I was a bit hesitant beforehand realizing that I wouldn’t know anybody there, it turned out to be one of the best parties. The whole event was very reminiscent of a wedding reception except there were young children involved and the DJ had lots of games prepared to get the crowd all riled up. My parents were able to step in and take care of Dylan, so it was a rare date night out for me and Adrian! We danced the night away and it was certainly a night to remember.
For the occasion, I wore this dress that I had originally intended to wear for the holidays. I ordered it back in October but somehow it arrived on my doorstep just this last week. Coincidentally, my company holiday party ended up getting cancelled due to the ice storm so it worked itself out in the end. The print reminds me of the Valentino Garden Print dress, and it was the perfect thing to wear to an event where I had no idea what to wear!

That sounds like so much fun! I've never been to a Bar Mitzvah! That dress is absolutely gorgeous on you! I love all of the colors!
I LOVE your nails here! the perfect compliment to such a pretty dress 🙂
What a lovely dress. I like that it's floral printed but has rusty, autumn colors. I also like the white jacket. Wow. Sounds like a fun party. By the way, you do NOT look like you have an 18-months old. Beautiful, petite body.

thank you! the dress just happens to flatter my non-problem areas. 🙂
I'm not usually into florals, but that dress is gorgeous! I really like that you went with a white coat to draw out the white in the pattern.
The dress is gorgeous, and I would have never guessed it was from Choies, and what a bummer that it's sold out (because I have some credits and have no idea what to get) and I love how you accessorized it as well 🙂
Thanks Kimmie! I wish it was still in stock too as it fit perfectly right off the rack! As for other current items I was eyeing, I like the bow dress (http://www.choies.com/product/white-skate-dress-with-bowknot-pattern) and the check print dress (http://www.choies.com/product/purple-star-check-print-dress). I ended up getting the baseball tee dress with leather sleeves dress (http://www.choies.com/product/white-bodycon-dress-with-black-leather-sleeves) although I realize that may not be your style.
I'm also planning on sharing my purchases sooner so if people are interested they can buy when it's in stock. 🙂
Ooh those are all really cute but I've found that dresses from those kinds of shops are always SO short on me so I try to stick to tops. And that white baseball dress is totally cute but omg I cannot pull off the combination of white and bodycon!
Hey Kimmie! I just noticed that SheInside has a very similar dress (more similar to the Valentino dress actually!) on sale: http://rstyle.me/n/c5jkawkvw
Just thought I'd let you know in case you have any SheInside credits. 🙂
You can rely on this lovely, unique Swiss egg to function as advertised, and that’s one thing you may’t really
trust all bongs on the market to do. Designed to provide extreme filtration energy,
and engaging hits, the egg has that look of Purr class that couldn’t be missed even without
the properly-carried out brand on the body.
