This was a big weekend for us. Not only did we have a great birthday party celebration for Dylan, but HE IS NOW WALKING! What started out as wobbly 2-3 steps two weeks ago has now turned into a pretty confident little waddle. It’s hard to admit, but my little baby is growing up. So bittersweet.
I pulled out some old summer shorts for this outfit and was kinda surprised at how short these shorts were. I think I’ve just become a bit more conservative since becoming a mom? I’ve also noticed I’m more wary of some of my high heels too and am loving the fact that mid-heels are trending right now. I guess I should also bring up the fact that I’m carrying a purse which doubles as my diaper bag in this outfit too. This is a “mom outfit” if there ever was one.

Cool outfit, Kileen! I love the bold and fiery colors of your sleeveless top. The cool and casual shorts go nicely with those sandals. Love your style here. And I'm sure as a parent, nothing is cooler than seeing your offspring walk for the first time ever. Nothing like watching someone grow up right before your eyes.

Love your sandals! I use to wear a lot more high heels…. But seems like I've been going lower heeled as I age, haha…. The feet/ankles seems to ache more than it use to when the shoes aren't comfy
I like your shorts. I wear a lot of khakis in the summer too. It's a great way to dress down.
