Ahhh… Target. I was so super excited about the Peter Pilotto for Target collaboration that released a week or so ago, but was sadly disappointed when I tried on my pieces (see the floral check outfit on me here and romper outfit on me here). I think the floral check skirt just seemed a bit awkward with the asymmetrical front drape on my short legs and the shirt was too busy of a print for my taste. The romper I actually seriously considered, but I didn’t like it enough to justify the price and couldn’t see myself wearing it enough. Hopefully there will be one happy Target shopper who finds it on the racks. 🙂
I did, however, end up seeing this floral moto jacket and loved it instantly! The floral print perfectly balances out the moto style and the contrast black sleeves tone down the print. The mix of coral and mint colors also make it perfect for Spring and I’ve already filled my head full with different styling ideas. Moral of the story: Target does it again!

the jacket is beautiful! I didn't personally run to Target this time for the collaboration release. I normally go crazy but this time, I painfully refrained. It sounds weird to say! haha. But, maybe if the romper goes on sale/clearance you can snag it for a decent price and enjoy the look!? hehe.

I'm shocked that blazer is from Target! I looks really high end! Looking closer it looks like comfy cotton sleeves which would be really nice. Such a pretty outfit.
