Hello and happy Monday! It’s Spring Break for us over here and I have the Monday / Tuesday off from work! We’re just staying put here in Dallas but had a few friends come up to visit us over the weekend. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t wait to put on all the pretty spring dresses already! I picked up several from Express the other day so be prepared for lots of pretty floral goodness, but this pretty dress is my absolute fave! The floral print has the prettiest mix of vibrant colors — I actually picked up the same print in the Portofino top too cause I love it so much (see on me)!

The dress is fully lined lightweight and the fit-and-flare silhouette is so flattering on the hips and thighs. I love the flutter details on the sleeve and it’s just such a pretty dress all around! I’m such a huge fan of the Express Petites line as the proportions are perfect if you have a smaller frame. I ordered a bunch of pieces online and am actually still trying to figure out my petite sizing at Express, but would say that sizing does run a little small (which I’m actually really happy to see as I know several friends smaller than me who struggle finding well-fitting clothes!) — I’m wearing size 00 in this dress but actually could have gone up to a size 0 as it’s just a bit short for my preference (I’m 5′ tall / 103 lbs for reference).

I love that dress so much. I am such a sucker for florals! I’m also a sucker for summer dresses. I am also having serious weather envy! I’m looking out my office window and see cold wet snow crashing with a plonk onto wet NYC streets, then look at your photo of sunshine and flowers.
