I tried to keep it simple with my outfit today — nothing beats a simple shirt and shorts for a Saturday running errands. Of course I had to new nude pumps as they’re my new favorite shoes (can I just say that these guys make every outfit look good?). They’re not a perfect skin-tone match for me as I’ve gotten a bit more tan lately with all my running outside (darn you, Texas sun!). Nonetheless, I’m still a huge fan of the light bone color and find them great for the spring / summer!
I saw this little flower pin at J. Crew on sale for 50% off and splurged a little ($9 for a little pin is still kinda pricey!). I was actually inspired by my flowergirl from my wedding last weekend where she wore a little flower in her hair. It was absolutely the cutest thing. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that she’s ridiculously cute to begin with. So I decided to take some fashion tips from a 4-year old. I think it totally makes the outfit. Thank you, Mia. 🙂

You couldn't have picked a better name for this great blog than "cute and little," and you are CERTAINLY cuter than ever with this look! love love the shoes! they look just like my PLV's, but at 1/5 of the price! how is the comfort? do they run tts? any heel slipping problems?
these shoes are surprisingly comfortable as they have extra cushioning in
the front. they do run TTS and i haven't had any heel slippage at all!! i
just got them last week though so i'm still breaking them in. so far i've
been able to go 2 hours in them before my feet get tired. a great backup
PLV shoe, i think! 🙂

I have a question about pants. You wore a pair of forever 21 cargo skinny pants in one post and it said you had them hemmed. Now, I didn't buy these pants because they have zippers at the bottom, and I am VERY curious as to how to hem zippered pants. Please tell me the secret!:-)
For those pants, my mom just removed the zipper and moved them further up
the leg so that they ended where I had the pants altered to. It's not a
difficult alteration to do. 🙂
If you don't want to move the zipper up, I've also had alterations done
where they just simply make the zipper shorter. In this case, you have to
use pliers to remove the little clip that seals the end of the zipper and
reattach it higher up where the new shorter hem is. Although this seems
like the easier alteration, it actually takes quite a bit of muscle to get
the clip at the end of the zipper.
