I bought this flowy sweater a couple years ago when I visited H&M on their opening day for their first Texas store and sadly it’s been sitting idly in my closet since then (it was definitely a purchase made on a shopper’s high). The length is too long to be styled with anything other than skinny jeans or tights and the billowy shape is borderline overwhelming on me. But today, when the weather suddenly plummeted to the wintry 40s, I decided I would figure out a way to layer this sweater with a few of my other favorite items and call it an outfit!
I layered this fitted moto jacket on top of this sweater and ended up liking how it slimmed down the sweater and created a bit more shape to the look. While previously I would’ve disliked having so much of the sweater hanging out from under the jacket, in this case I think the ruffled hem actually made it work. This Zara blanket scarf was also the perfect piece to wrap up myself up in and the tartan print was just right!

Oh I love that scarf and that sweater! I think that even though it is slightly limited in what can be worn with it, it looks very comfy and classic!
