Big news, guys. I finally stopped pumping at work! I’m still breastfeeding Dylan right now (we both love it so I didn’t see any reason to stop), but he’s cut down on the amount of milk he drinks when I’m at work so I finally decided to cut out my daytime pumping session. It’s so liberating not to be chained to that machine anymore! I was a little “bustier” than normal last week but I have to admit that the transition went smoother than I thought. I’ve discovered (the hard way) that my body is pretty sensitive to breastfeeding changes but a week later and I finally feel like I’m back to normal again. Hip hip!
Meanwhile, the weather has been so cold lately that I’ve been scared to wear my skirts. That wind just chills me right to the bone! Tights haven’t been much help so I’ve been going through my collection of pants instead. I love changing things up so instead of just wearing jeans every day, I’ve ventured into my stash of colored pants. Burgundy has always been one of my favorite colors and I love the contrast of the rich hue against the stark winter landscape. I paired these pants with my other wintertime wardrobe essentials — a fur vest and cozy knit sweater — and finally felt warm enough to brave the elements!

my supply has been up and down quite a bit. around 6 months my supply was so super low but i kept breastfeeding while using up previously pumped milk. after almost a month of virtually nothing, it finally came back and now we're still going strong. it's been nice to continue breastfeeding but i'm so glad to have dropped the pumping!
and these Ivanka Trump leopard pumps are my absolute fave. they are super comfy and easy to walk in too! i love the print and the fact that it has actual calf hair too instead of just a print.

Oh I know what you mean! I didn't wear skirts past week 15 or so and I couldn't wait to wear them again post pregnancy. You looked gorgeous in your maxi though and you'll be back in the rest of your skirts in no time!
