I can’t even believe how fast this holiday season is going by. I need to get my tail in gear and figure out Christmas presents before it’s too late! Over the next few weeks, I’m planning to share some of my gift guides for the various people on your shopping list in the hopes that it might give you some ideas. To start off the series, I figured I’d start with the hubby (boyfriend applies here as well!) as I’ve kinda figured out his style over the past 8 years that we’ve been together. 🙂
Adrian used to be all about the video games and gadgets for Christmas, but over the years his taste has slightly changed. I actually asked him the other day what his thoughts were on the PS4 and XBox One and he actually expressed no interest in either (can you even believe?!). And so instead of going the techie route for him this year, I rounded up a few practical items that I think he actually needs and would appreciate.
I picked out a couple bags for him, messenger style and backpack, as his current work bag is starting to fall apart. I love the smooth leather finish of the messenger bag and structured design makes it look sleek and put-together. The backpack is also slim yet still provides a padded laptop pocket and looks to be durable.
I also picked out a few coats and blazers. Adrian goes on work dinners quite often and he’s mentioned that having another nice sport coat or blazer to wear to those events would be nice. I love the gray color of this blazer as it’s the perfect color so as not to look like a suit yet still fitted to be dressy. The gray and black coats also make great layering options — the black one is even water-resistant!
POPSUGAR is also having a Holiday Gift Guide live show tomorrow, Nov 20th at 3pm EST / 12pm PST. Tune in to check out their gifting suggestions and you can even shop while you watch with direct links to purchase all the items. There will even be a giveaway and prizes so you don’t want to miss it!

P.S. In case you missed it:
- Light Layers – A comfy Fall look featuring a white blazer, cargo skinnies, and leopard accents!
I love everything here. It is also a very helpful post. I never know what to buy for men! My husband usually wants video games and anything technology related by sometimes I want to get something that has more of a personal touch.

I guess all guys love video games/tech stuff. You're lucky Adrian has geared away from the PS4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately, my hubby still enjoys video games. He had the PS4 on pre-order. =/
Anyway, I love all the items you suggested.
I think Adrian's interests shifted away from video games once we had Dylan actually! he just started realizing that video games were too much of a time suck and they weren't satisfying for him anymore. He's complained about how games have changed over the past few years so that they make you do more time-consuming tasks in order to progress in the game and he said it started to feel like "homework". I'm sure it's all part of the gaming industry's strategy to have you spend more time playing the game, but I guess it just deterred Adrian from playing altogether. I can't say I'm complaining. 🙂
Thank you this was such a great post! Many holidays are linked to faiths and religions (see etymology above). Christian holidays are defined as part of the liturgical year, the chief ones being Easter and Christmas. The Orthodox Christian and Western-Roman Catholic patronal feast day or "name day" are celebrated in each place's patron saint's day, according to the Calendar of saints. Perfect Gift for Boyfriends
