Hello and happy Monday! I could not be more excited as my husband, Adrian, is actually guest posting for me and sharing a men’s gift guide! I figure there’s no better way to get real gift ideas for the men in your life than asking a guy himself what they would appreciate under the tree. So, please welcome Adrian to cute & little and read on for his holiday gift ideas for nerds!

Today I’m bringing you a gift guide for men, written by a man. Kileen’s fashion selection for women is on point, but there’s no better way to understand what a modern man would appreciate in a holiday gift, than by asking one. Allow me to introduce myself – I’m Adrian Valenzuela, professional nerd, coffee lover and most importantly, Kileen’s husband. I tried to keep all gifts under $150 which shouldn’t break the bank if you need a gift or two for a special man in you life. Like most men, I value very practical gifts that can be used all the time or experiences that can be shared with your friends and family.
Gift Ideas for Nerds
Aeropress Coffee Maker
For those of us not fortune enough to have an espresso machine at home, the Aeropress is my absolute favorite way to make a single serving cup of coffee. We have a growing collection of ways to brew coffee including a Ninja Drip Coffee Machine, Nespresso Vertuo machine (Kileen’s go-to for coffee!), and French Press but the Aeropress gets the most use at home for me because it’s so easy and makes a great, smooth cup of coffee. All you need is ground coffee and hot water. Bonus pick: our favorite coffee kettle is the Fellow Stagg EKG kettle which has a beautiful, modern design and comes with digital controls for precise water temperature. 80° Celsius is perfect for the Aeropress which is a bit lower than typical coffee temperature which means you can enjoy your coffee sooner!
Chemex Glass Coffeemaker
For pour over coffee lovers, the Chemex is the gold standard. Its timeless design will look good in any home or office and you can get them in various sizes ranging from 3 to 10 cups. All you need for this is some ground coffee, Chemex filters and hot water. Bonus pick: our favorite kettle is the Fellow Stagg EKG kettle which has a beautiful, modern design and comes with digital controls for precise water temperature.
Clarisonic Mia Men Facial Cleaner
Kileen bought me this Clarisonic brush years ago and like a typical guy, I didn’t think I wanted a motorized face brush. I can confidently admit that I was wrong. This little brush is fantastic. Not only does it leave your face feeling super clean and fresh it also softens your face beard bristles which makes it way easier to shave!
Hershel Supply Co Duffle Bag
Everyone needs a classic duffle bag. It can function as a gym bag, a smaller replacement for a suitcase for quick work trips, or perfect for a weekend getaway. A great blue and brown combination will always look good and Hershel makes great quality products. This bag comes with a built in shoe pocket to keep all your other stuff nice and clean.
Happy Socks
Socks are like naps, you hated them as kids but they’re amazing as adults. As a grown man, it’s critical to improve your sock game. Those of us who work in corporate jobs don’t have a lot of room for interesting fashion choices, but with socks, the sky’s the limit. Bonus points if you enjoy games cause this pack of socks are themed just for the occasion!
SteelSeries ARCTIS 7 Wireless Gaming Headset
Gamer guys of any age need a good wireless gaming headset so that they can talk to their team mates, talk trash, and listen to the game without disturbing everyone around them. They also double as headphones when listening to the TV late at night. This Arctis 7 headset sounds fantastic, have “it-just-works-wireless” without any complicated setup and work with every console (PS4 or Xbox One) or a PC.
Apple AirPods
For music lovers, Apple AirPods are a no-brainer gift. They sound pretty great but most importantly, they’re so convenient because they always fit in your pocket and they work instantly without fumbling with setup. My Apple AirPods have been one of my favorite things I’ve ever bought and they’re a part of my daily checklist: wallet, keys, AirPods.
Overcooked! 2
Overcooked! 2 is a fantastic game to play solo, but when you play it with 2-4 people, it’s a totally different experience that brings out the best and the worst in people as the action gets intense. It’s easy to get started so even non-gamers (like Kileen) have been lured into playing. It starts out very casual and all of sudden your kitchen is on fire and everyone’s screaming…just like thanksgiving dinner. The game is available for every console and it’s usually slightly cheaper if you buy the physical game compared to the digital download.
Pandemic Legacy Season 1
Pandemic Legacy is a fantastic, co-op game and a great gift for anyone who likes board games, strategy or eradicating worldwide epidemics. What makes Pandemic Legacy special is that every time you play – one in-game month – it permanently changes the game and the rules for each future rounds until you finish the in game year. Because you have to play at least 12 times to finish the game, it gives you an excuse to get your friends and family together. Since the game is played cooperatively, even non-competitive or casual gamers can enjoy playing together with those more intense people who hate to lose (like me).
