Tweed jackets are a favorite of mine (you may remember all the different ones I’ve styled here, here, and here previously) and this one from J.Crew is one that I just can’t get enough of right now.  There’s just no denying how classic it looks and it makes even the pink crop top that I paired with it here more profesh!  I just love the crochet lace detailing on this top and while I think this pairing is a bit unexpected, I actually how the strapless top makes the whole look more youthful!

The wide pant leg silhouette might just be a favorite for the spring.  The soft linen and loose cut are super comfortable for those days when I’m sitting for longer stretches at the office and there’s something about the statement design that just makes you feel like a boss.  🙂

Meanwhile I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend!  It was a big weekend for us as we finally sold our old house and were able to move the rest of our furniture that we had left for staging into the new house.  We had been sleeping on mattresses on the floor for the past 3 months so it was amazing to finally be able to set up our bedroom and settle into our new home.  Adrian and I also celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary on Saturday although we were so busy with all the packing and moving though that neither of us actually remembered until Sunday morning, ha!
