I’ve been looking to add a simple gold chain to my jewelry collection for a few months now. When I first received this one from DailyLook, I was a bit taken back by the larger-than-expected size. But, I figured before sending it back, I might as well give it a chance and see if I could make it work.
With our bipolar Texas weather turning cold today, I decided to wear my Phillip Lim leopard print sweater and paired it with a navy pencil skirt. I kept the combination simple to keep it looking professional. This way by adding the gold chain, hopefully the end result will still be classy. And not too gangsta.
Oh, and that skewed shirt tuck, you might ask? Totally (not) intentional. I’m making fashion statements everywhere today. 🙂

Navy and mustard are a great combo, and at least even on your colder days, you can still keep your legs bare.
For right now, bare legs are still possible. A cold day right now means the high is in the upper 60s. 🙂
The PL X Target collection is sold out at my local target. Love the Loft skirt option you suggested…too bad that's sold out too.
