I was hoping to have gotten over my cold by today, but I woke up feeling like mud and it ended up being a sick day. I slept like a rock up until noon (thank goodness for the nanny!) and let me tell you, sleep fixes everything. My body was still a bit achy, but I’m thankfully almost back to normal now. The sweats finally came off and I got dressed to do a little grocery store run.
I saw these leather pants at Target the other day and while I was a bit skeptical of whether I could pull them off, they ended up being surprisingly flattering! The pants are faux leather in the front and a stretchy ponte fabric in the back, making it a more wearable alternative to the full leather pant in my book. Paired with a graphic tee and utility jacket, the look was simple and casual, yet just what I needed to feel like myself again!
Hope your week is off to a great start and thanks for stopping by!

P.S. In case you missed it:
- Scenes From The Weekend – Mostly just lots of pictures of Dylan… 🙂
- Spring Essential :: Pink Trench – A soft pink color on a spring classic.
These are fantastic pants, but what I'm loving most is how they look next to the super shiny patent shoes. Great pairing!

Love everything about this…the leather pants are perfect!
Your little son is so cute! I love his smile and his excitement!
My children are grown up (21 and 19) and the most precious I have.
I hope you are feeling better in the meantime.

Fantastic recap! My 20-month old loves anything with googly eyes, he would flip if he had a shirt with them! He looks so sweet and happy.

Hahaha! Dylan is so cute! Keep your weekend recap coming in, please! I think when we have a family we tend to want document our lives for keepsakes later on. I do, too. Now my blog is a fashion journal, a diary, and a family journal all rolled into one.
