Flattering non-maternity clothes are hard to come by these days as this bump is already getting awkwardly big, but this little organza bow and skirt pairing did just the trick. I love organza for the summertime as it’s a perfect lightweight fabric and doesn’t cling to my skin when the heat and humidity kick in (102-degree temps already around here!). The bow design on this top conveniently draws attention upwards and this sheer striped skirt paired perfectly for a ladylike look on the town.
I have my 14-week prenatal screening appointment tomorrow morning so I’ll be back tomorrow with more baby news to share!

Congrats on your pregnancy, so exciting! I love this skirt on you!
Lovely! By the way, if it's in your budget, Due Maternity and Figure 8 Maternity have cute stuff. I bought several pieces that are cute and flattering.
Oh good to know! Thx so much for the rec. Will check them out!
You look B-E-A-UTIFUL in this look Kileen! Wear those pretty skirts while you can! I swear I was showing by 5 weeks with my fourth one. Good luck at the appointment! Can't wait to watch this little babe grow!
Loving the fabrics! You look gorgeous!

Love your outfit, Kileen! I especially like the organza skirt. When should one steer clear of wearing heels when pregnant?
Very cute look, the bow detail is great and I am loving the stripes on the skirt. Congrats on your pregnancy!
For me I usually start veering towards flats when my belly gets big and my balance is a bit off — it's up to you though as I know people who wore heels to the very end! I'm borderline transitioning to flats already just cause it's more comfortable on my feet. I stash a pair in my bag if I know I'll be on my feet for awhile. 🙂
Actually, my parents have already steered me away from wearing heels. I get nagged at if I do, which sucks for me since most of my work pants are meant for heel height.
oh i know what you mean! but maybe as your belly grows you might need a pair of new pants anyways… so then you can get a pair that works with flats?
That is such a cute skirt! 🙂
I found that I had a lot of items in my wardrobe that worked for maternity wear, without having to buy too many maternity pieces. Anything with an elastic waist (like maxi skirts or dresses) worked really well! 🙂
Away From The Blue
Good luck tomorrow! I don't see the bump (yet)!
