I went for a rocker chic look today. I don’t remember the last time I wore so much black. Or leather, faux or not. I actually saw these faux leather pants at H&M when I was in California and instantly fell in love with them. I’ve never been brave enough to rock pants that were entirely faux leather as I think it’s just a little too bold for me in the daytime. These pants, however, have a very matte finish and feel almost like a waxed jean. There are little faux leather panels around the knees that add nice accents, but they’re somewhat subtle and just the perfect amount of shiny faux leather for me!
To top off the pants, I wanted something fun and decided to mix some sequins with the leather. I’m loving this sequin top so much more than I originally expected and am so glad that I ended up getting it during my last LOFT haul in December. As for the jacket, I actually wanted was my Arden B ruffle one, but alas it was at the tailor’s. So another layer of black it was. Funny thing was, with all the black and leather I was wearing, I actually felt really tough. And like I needed a motorcycle. ^_^

You are def rocking this look!
I love the jacket on you!
Love everything about this look Kileen! I really need some sequins in my life… definitely going to check out this one at Loft!
I am having outfit envy right now. Leather and lace is one of my favorite sayings but now I'm thinking it should be sequins and lace. I think the black jacket made this out fit so good job tailer by keeping the white ruffled jacket.
i love this look on you. the hair is perfect with the outfit too. i really like the sequin top and leather jacket!
Fabulous jacket! I wouldn't want to run into you (in this outfit!) in a dark alley lol
Wow, this look is so different from what you'd normally wear..I love it on you 😀 I've seen a few faux leather pants at H&M but the size 2 is always sold out. Size 4 is a bit baggy for me.
xx The Little Dust Princess
Looking totally bad ass today girl!!
The leather pants are made for you. Wow! I love how you step out of your comfort zone and try out different styles. Definitely rocking this outfit, girl!
Automatically LOVE IT!! I was looking at that faux leather jacket online, it looks great on you!
Don't you just love the confidence boost that dressing rocker gives you? 😉
(haha sorry for deleting the other one, it had a weird typo)
emphasizing on Ping's comment- very well-coordinated hair for this outfit.
I like that the sequins and your flower necklace adds a touch of femininity to this dark ensemble.
HOT! You certainly achieved the tough look – I too am loving the floral necklace with this 🙂
LOVE it! Everything about this outfit is perfect! I am especially loving your hair (it goes perfectly with the other 'tough' elements) and the shine of the sequins with the leather!
Love the outfit!! I don't think I would ever be brave enough to wear faux leather pants but this outfit kind of makes me think twice about it
I am loving everything about this look, from the hair to the accessories. I love the hint of femininity from the hint of sequence in gold.
The HM pants look great on you!
You look hot! Well done Kileen!
those pants are hot! i actually have a pair of black leather looking pants circa 1999 that im turning into skinnies! can't wait to wear them 🙂
such a great fit on the jacket! other than hemming the sleeves, did you take it in as well?
@I am Khatu nope, the XXS fit perfectly actually in the body! the only issue was the sleeves being about 1" too long on me, which really isn't that bad. 🙂
stunning look darling!
Great look, Kileen!
The jacket looks so nice after hemming. You are right about the leather pants, they have a matte finish, so they are easier to wear. Nicely done.
You look amazing! I can never pull off the rocker/leather jacket look. I just stare at myself in the mirror and say "woahh, not me" but maybe one of these days I'll turn around in the mean time, keep rockin' that jacket girl!
Just Better Together
Look at you! So rocker chic and fabulous!! Love that you added the sequins…it really glams up this tough look!
& You look pretty in black!!
You definitely look like a stylish rocker chic. Absolutely love the whole outfit especially those killer pants. Make your legs look so long and slim.
such a different look for you and it looks great! I love the pants, I've been wanting a pair of faux leather ones myself.
Ooooh you look FIERCE! I like how you're even posing with the attitude – that necklace really ties it together too!
What I love the most is that you added sequins and a flower necklace to the mix…perfect balance!
Wow! So much leather, but it's kind of cool. It's great that you break out the black with sequins. =)
You look like you could kick anyone's butt in this!
My Heart Blogged
