I’ve been making an effort to add more prints into my wardrobe as it’s the perfect way to add a bit of character and whimsy in most cases to a simple look. This heart print scarf is a new favorite of mine — the light chiffon fabric is perfect for those sunny yet windy days and the pink hearts just play up to my feminine tendencies!
I hesitated at first with this outfit and initially thought it had just too much going on. Polka dots, heart print, a bow belt, and a bright red bag?? Even just thinking about it seems overwhelming! But after hemming and hawing between swapping out and/or removing different items, the look just never felt quite right. And so in the end, overwhelming as it potentially was, everything went back in. Not surprisingly this week has been all sorts of crazy and this outfit was just my expression of how I felt. Funny how much clothes can say about you right?
