I’m not a pants girl, so this is a big deal. I saw these pants at Forever 21 a couple weeks ago and it was the last size 24. Even though they weren’t expensive to begin with at $22.80, I found a small tear in the side seam and was able to get another 10% knocked off since they were considered damaged. I kinda felt like an asian mom in the making, asking for more discounts on something that’re already cheap. But hey, I do have my mom to thank for all my good negotiating skillz (and yes, my skillz are good enough to be spelled with a ‘z’). Why not save when you can, right?
And Friday is finally upon us!! Adrian and I are planning to go out to Clear Springs Scuba Park this weekend to complete our open water scuba certification. I can’t wait to do a real dive and see some fishies!

Love this! the pants are gorgeous! And I have an even cheaper story… I asked for a discount at F21 on a $11.80 shirt because it had foundation marks (and I wasn't sure if it would wash out)… yeah, I saved less than $2, but it's enough to buy a chocolate bar. And I love chocolate. The foundation washed out no problem 🙂

hm…for me, the flowers and the turtleneck really doesn't go together. different seasonal pieces. not only that, it looks like the necklace is choking you. too much going on @ the neck.
I know some ppl who are worse. They rub makeup on the clothes and then ask for the discount and SAs just have to give it to them. unethical.

I'm always finding reasons to get that extra 10% off… a pull here, a small dot there; I'm not want to just look past these things and just pay full price when I know a discount is due.
But I always act all surprised and grateful when they offer it.
