Today was my first day back in the office since last Wednesday and boy was it rough to get back into the swing of things! Adrian and I both took Monday off from work to have a day to ourselves to recover from the wedding festivities. What should have been a day of sleeping in and eating strawberries in bed turned into a day getting vaccines for Africa and opening up joint checking accounts and credit cards. But I guess these are all the nitty gritty details of getting married once all the glitz and glamour is over. 🙂 At least we have the honeymoon to look forward to in June! (We timed it so that we’re there during the Great Migration.)
As for my outfit today, I wanted to go with some jewel tones. Jean had written up a color theory post recently and so I decided to put her suggestion of pairing neighboring colors together. I never would’ve thought that royal blue and teal would work, but after today, I have definitely changed my mind! This is definitely going into my book of tricks for future Color Brigades! 😉

Haha, I wish! Unfortunately I'm taking 2 weeks vacation for the honeymoon already and can't get away with another week. But June is right around the corner anyways. 🙂
