When it’s 105 degrees out, the last thing I want to do is put on clothes {I would go around town in my bikini if that was acceptable!}. And so I decided to go with the next closest thing: a white tank top and short white shorts white a sheer chiffon layering top. I love the short front / long back cut of this top as it’s unexpected and gives this simple outfit a bit more style. These shorts are definitely shorter than what I normally wear (purchased probably 5 years ago when I wasn’t shy about showing so much leg) but it was so hot that I wore them anyways… In the end, I didn’t end up sweating like a pig, so I guess the outfit was a success!
Meanwhile, I can’t wait for my birthday dinner tonight! 🙂

These are very very good photos! Im ambivalent abot shorts because they're so hard to style. I love your take on them- a float top and a wedge do wonders to otherwise plain shorts. Also, a Chanel couldn't hurt to spice up an outfit 😀

oh goodness, i don't know that know how to do that. it would mean a second camera that would take pictures of me taking pictures. i don't have 2 cameras or 2 tripods or 2 remotes to do that… 🙁
my setup isn't that hard though. it's basically i just set the tripod up in front of me, eyeball where i'm going to stand, and then just take a million (actually around 40-50) pictures. my camera settings are AV mode with 2.8 f-stop with multipoint focus. and that's really it! HTH.
