You guys, I just made this lemongrass chicken for dinner and it was amazing! To make it a one-pot meal, I threw in half a tub of spinach leaves and I was happy to see that even Dylan ate it all up. I’ve been experimenting with some new recipes lately and so happy to add a new one to our rotation!
On to what I wore, we had a little cold front move through yesterday and it was a crispy morning around here! Taking advantage of the change in weather, I layered up a bit with this khaki leather contrast cropped jacket, a favorite of mine that I keep turning to lately as it’s the perfect mix of casual and edgy yet still toned down with the khaki color. Underneath I indulged my girly side and paired a pink blouse with a flirty gingham skirt. Finally, although I was debating whether these caged sandals would put this look over the top, I ended up deciding that I loved these sandals too much and took my chances! Fashion is about taking chances and wearing what makes you happy, right? 🙂

Pinterest is my fave for new recipes! I love to make new things–especially when the family gobbles them up! Great skirt Kileen!
I love that you took the chance, but honestly I feel the caged one would go fantastic with a monochromatic look.. here, its kind of fighting for attention with your beautiful skirt.. 🙁 But hello caged sandals. I am glad you kept it against all the suggestions, they are so pretty!! LOVE IT.
I actually didn't have a choice to keep it unfortunately as JustFab's exchange policy would only let me exchange it for the same shoe. Boo!
Love the combination of the outfit. I especially love the gingham skirt!
that checkered skirt looks awesome with those heels!
Yes fashion is about taking chances!!!
