It’s freezing here in Texas and it’s been tough finding outerwear type pieces that I can still button up around this pregnant belly to stay warm. I took a chance on this bat-wing sweater cape when I saw it online and am so glad I did! It’s the perfect piece that I can layer onto my outfits and stay warm while looking chic too. Although the sizing is one-size-fits-all, I have to say that it is still petite-friendly as the sleeves are too long and there are actual sleeves that still create the look of a sleeker silhouette instead of just a boxy draped fabric. I also have think it looks great with the front hem pulled up a bit to create a hi-low effect as I’ve worn above — it’s more flattering on smaller frames in my opinion and the fabric still drapes beautifully all around.
This was also my first time placing an order with DressVe so I just wanted to give my quick thoughts for anyone thinking about ordering from this site. It took about 2 weeks for me to receive my order with expedited shipping and it was shipped via DHL (all tracking info was also updated on my account online for me to check). I was actually traveling when they attempted to deliver my package so I ended up having to call and reschedule a delivery when I returned home from my trip. The sweater was as I expected from the picture although it did need to be aired out a bit and was static-y from being sealed up in a plastic bag. China retailers can be hit or miss sometimes, but I will say that I at least with my initial order from DressVe, I haven’t had any issues.
Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you’re staying warm!
