I bought this skirt about two months post-pregnancy. I swear it actually fit like a glove back then but it looks kinda like a sack now (albeit a pretty striped sack if you ask me). What’s funny is that I actually haven’t lost any weight since that time (at least not according to the scale), but maybe I just deflated a little? Who knows. I’d like to think that I know my body pretty well but then it throws me these curve ball when I least expect it. Looks like I’ll need to do some tailoring this weekend.
Speaking of the weekend, Adrian and I booked a last minute trip to see his family in El Paso. Tickets were bought on Monday night for a trip on Thursday morning. I can’t even believe it but it’s happening. This will be our first time leaving Dallas with Dylan. I’ll admit that part of me is kinda freaking out about this trip already. Traveling used to be all about figuring out what I was gonna wear and what shoes to bring. Now it’s all about how in the world are we gonna travel with a carseat, stroller, pack-n-play crib and baby in tow? I’m pretty sure we’re gonna be THAT family at the airport, moving their entire house for a weekend getaway. If any of you guys catch us in the act, please take a picture. I’m sure it will look ridiculous!

Haha, motherhood totally changes the body and how clothes fit. Or maybe I'm just getting older and settling into a new body that is not my teenage body that I've been used to for all these years.
